Cap is a citizen of Garland Farm. He lives in the community with his caretaker/grandmother Rain. His grandmother taught him how to drive when he was 8, in case of emergencies. This story starts when his grandmother Rain falls off the tree while picking apples and hurts her back. Cap drives the Car to the hospital when he gets pulled over. He explained to the officer, and the officer let him go. After arriving at the Hospital, the doctor explains that Rain has to be at the hospital temporarily for a couple of months until she is better. That's when Rain called her friend Floramundi/ Mrs. Donnely to take care of Cap until she was better. This is when Cap realizes he now has to experience real life with society outside of Garland.
Character: Rain
Rain is Cap's grandma and his only caretaker. She is the creator/ owner of Garland. She had bad experiences with society and outside life, so for a better life for her children/ Grandchildren. Cap's Parents died when Cap was very little, so Rain has to take care of Cap. Rain also teaches Cap and acts like his teacher. One early morning when the birds were chirping, Rain climbed a tree and fell down hurting her back. She then arrives at the hospital, where the doctor says the bad news. Rain has hurt her back badly, and she has to stay at the hospital for a while. Angrily, she shouted WHAT ABOUT CAP!, and the doctor said that he would need a temporary caretaker until she was better. So she calls her friend Floramundi to take care of Cap who has never experienced any life outside Garland.
