Goal: I can evaluate the performance of a design solution and to iterate to identify problems and think of solutions.

What's usually your first reaction when something breaks?

If you're going to fix something, what do you do first?

What's a CNC machine? Do you know what it's used for?

We're going to complete the Invention Squad challenge, "Broken"

To get there go to the Spike website > Click "Spike Prime" (blue one) > Click "Unit Plans" (blue) > Click "Invention Squad" (green) > Click "Broken"

Here's some tips:

Step 1: Watch the video. Easy peasy.

Step 2: Build CNCs.

Step 3: Observe your CNC and watch for trouble

Step 4: Discuss as group. Add notes about the problem & solution in your NOTEBOOKS.

Step 5: Upgrade your CNC! Add sketches of the upgrades to your NOTEBOOKS.
