About Aspiring Professionals
Aspiring Professionals is a semester course that offer students an opportunity to use their classroom knowledge in a real life, experiential learning environment.
We partner with area business owners and industry professionals to provide unpaid internships, job shadowing and hands on experiences with the goal of preparing students for an employable future in their career of interest.

Connects classroom learning with professional experiences.
Professional experiences vary by industry and partner. Some are observational based, some are project based, and some are work based.
Students are required to complete an average of 6 hours per week, likely requiring time outside of the normal school day.
Students complete a Capstone project summarizing their learning over the semester.
The primary goal of professional experiences is to develop professional skills and help students become more employable in the future.
Facilitators support students and managers through weekly classes and personal visits.
Students can be flexible with work schedules after they become available at 2pm.
Students are expected to practice communication skills and manage their own schedules.
Students adhere to the professional dress expected in the profession and company.
Students are not allowed to ride in vehicles with project managers.
