About Aspiring Educators
Aspiring Educators is a semester course that offers students an opportunity to use their classroom knowledge in a real life, experiential learning environment.
Aspiring Educators partner with district schools and teachers to provide off campus internships, job shadowing and hands on experiences in a grade level and/or subject of choice.

Class time is held at Angeline Washington Elementary
Students complete 3 two week rotations in classrooms around the district.
Students complete a Capstone project summarizing their learning over the semester.
Aspiring Educators is a 2 block course.
Students maintain confidentiality in classroom settings.
Students hear a variety of district guest speakers.
Students adhere to the professional dress expected in the teaching profession.
Students participate in mock Parent-Teacher conferences and interviews.
