Prezi

What is Prezi?

Prezi is an online presentation tool. It is a different way of asking students to present ideas, especially if you're sick of the traditional PowerPoint or Google Slides. It builds a "canvas" as a background onto which all manner of multimedia and text can be added. Students say that it's sometimes slower and a little more "clunky" than being able to use Google Slides but is useful and just a different platform for presenting ideas, allowing for a new way of doing a speech or oral presentation. The templates developed by Prezi are quite professional and the newer platform: "Prezi Next" has a semi-3D functionality that allows students to present ideas in new ways.

How do I use Prezi?

The Prezi below was developed for Year 11 Geography students to review their progress for their exam (AS91007) and looks at the case study of the Canterbury series of earthquakes from 2010-2011.
