What is Coggle?

"Coggle" is an online tool for creating and sharing mind-maps.

This short video introduces Coggle and how to use this mind-mapping tool in the classroom. One of the drawbacks currently is that individual emails need to be assigned to edit/ write in the online/ collaborative space. One of the ways to work around this is to assign a scribe per group to write on the Coggle, and send an individual invitation for that "scribe" to input ideas from a group into the mind map. Previously, one was able to send out a group email (using a class group email for instance) to provide access, but this function has now been removed.

Another useful feature is the ability to comment and chat in the Coggle space, this allows users to track the changes in a Coggle diagram. The video below explains how to connect Coggle to the Google Classroom.
