Allergies

Important Message:

There are a number of students in the Paramus Public Schools who have severe food/latex allergies, some of which can be life-threatening. In an effort to allow all students to participate fully in class activities, we encourage parents to talk with their child(ren) about not trading or sharing food, utensils, or containers and to be respectful of students with allergies.

In addition, latex balloons of any kind are forbidden in the school buildings/property. Mylar balloons are acceptable. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact your child’s school nurse.

The school nurse will develop an Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan as needed for identified students.  Please view the care plan template below.
