Name of Organization: North Jersey Friendship House- Adults with Autism Day Program
Mission: To provide services in a safe environment where we build skills for productive lives. We serve adults 21 and older who are eligible for DDD services. We offer activities for the promotion of a persons' self-esteem and overall well-being. We accomplish this through small group teaching that focuses on individual needs and preferences. Sample of groups include but are not limited to: social skills; emotion regulation; self-advocacy; decision making; dress for success; personal self-care; community awareness and safety; goal setting; future planning and more. Pre-vocational services allows us to build skills needed for employment. Supported employment allows us to help individuals identify , secure and maintain integrated competitive employment while providing personalized needed support.
Services Provided: Day Habilitation Day Program, Pre-Vocational services, Supported Employment
