About me
I am from Tampa, FL. We moved there from Massachusetts when I was 4 yrs. old. I started teaching in 1999. My first school was a Magnet School for Science, Math, and Technology, NASA Explorer School. I was there until 2011. My second school was a Magnet School for the Arts. I was there until 2017. I left Florida in 2017 and came to New Mexico! At first, I tried my hand as an EA at Desert Ridge 2018-2019. Then I taught Visual Art + Business Technology at Hoover Middle School. Now I am proud to be a PAPA Panda! This is my 4th year at PAPA!
My passion is painting and mixed media.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL.
I am a Level II certified k-12 Visual Arts and Social Studies Teacher.
My teaching philosophy is simple-
Make it fun, make it purposeful.
Be present.
Try new things, in different ways.
Never give in, never give up.

2 Sketchbook 9 x 12, spiral-bound with pockets
12 Pencils, 2 hand-held sharpeners + 2 erasers (sep. from one on pencil, 5 liner pens (skinny sharpie like pen)
Optional- set of colored pencils (Prismacolor or crayola) and USB flash drive
