We are learning about our School Pou and the stories of our School Pou.
We are learning about about the people and places of significance in our rohe. Some of these people and places of significance are represented on our school pou and this term we will be learning all about 'Our Place and Our Stories' through our school pou.

A pepeha is a way to introduce yourself. It tells other people who you are and where you come from. Everyone has a PEPEHA.

At a hui (meeting), whakapapa (ancestry) is recited during the mihimihi (acknowledgements) by saying your pepeha (personal introduction)
