WALT grow our own beans and peas from seed
WALT grow our own beans and peas from seed
We are using grow pods and seeds to grow our own green dwarf beans and snow peas.
We had to add water to a shallow container for the grow pod to expand first.
Once the grow pod had expanded we then added our seed we had chosen.
We had to keep an eye on our seeds to make sure they had enough water, sunlight and air.

Te Pā a Parore Marae
We are learning about marae in preparation for our whole school marae noho at Te Pā a Parore on Friday 4th August.
We are starting by learning about te kawa o te marae and the process of pōwhiri (pōhiri).
The name of our area comes from this tupuna, Parore Te Awha.
This maunga is Puheke/ Puwheke. We are learning to use the original name of this maunga, Te Pū o te Wheke.
