At Papakura High School, we understand the immense value of our students participating in regional, national, and international tournaments. These events not only allow our students to test themselves against top competition but also provide them with clear goals to strive toward throughout the year.

Eligibility Requirements
To represent Papakura High School in a tournament, students must:

• Maintain an attendance rate of at least 80%.

• Adhere to the school’s Code of Conduct.

Final decisions on participation will be made by the Teacher in Charge (TIC) and approved by the Director of Sport.

Financial Commitments and Support
Tournaments often involve significant costs, including transport, accommodation, and meals. To help cover these expenses:

• Students will be required to pay a commitment fee.

• Teams will organize and participate in fundraising activities.

For families experiencing financial difficulties, assistance is available. Students can apply for financial aid through the Director of Sport and may have the opportunity to complete tasks or activities to help raise funds.
