There is a theory that we are all regardless of race/culture designed to operate as herd mammals. The reason this could be true is that all humans emotions, feelings and thoughts are all about connecting with other humans
Self esteem is your feeling of worth and importance in a social group. That feeling you have affects your behaviours, your contribution and even what role and happiness in that group
In some groups, we can have low self esteem. In some high. There are strategies that we can use to change our self esteem levels if we have unhelpful beliefs.
