Dear Secondary School Parents,
We are writing to provide you with a quick update regarding some temporary adjustments to our administrative and teaching assignments in our secondary school, which will be in place from now until the end of January 2026.
Kru Daiju’s teaching load for IBDP Economics and Year 8 Social Studies will be shifted to Kru Paul, our former DP Coordinator, until the arrival of a new faculty member in early January.
Kru Daiju will focus specifically on secondary school administrative priorities, including faculty recruitment, preparations for the upcoming IB visit, building the 2026-2027 secondary school timetable, and ongoing work related to the WASC accreditation process.
Our IB Diploma Programme Coordinator, Kru Vinita, and Secondary School Vice Principal, Kru Christine, will continue to oversee curriculum planning, student support, teacher collaboration, and daily school operations.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.
Sincerely,
Pete Corcoran

Dear Families,
As we reflect on the past week, we want to express our gratitude for the enriching experiences our students have had. Our Loy Kratong and Thai Language and Culture Day were highlights, celebrating the vibrant traditions of Thai heritage. The activities provided invaluable learning opportunities for our students, deepening their appreciation for Thai traditions and culture.
We also enjoyed a wonderful Student Council spirit week and movie night. It was wonderful to see our students showcasing their school spirit and coming together as a community. These events are essential in fostering connections among our students and creating lasting memories.
Additionally, we were honoured to welcome Sister Jayavira, a Buddhist nun, who shared her insights with our students. Her visit offered a thoughtful perspective on mindfulness and compassion.
Looking ahead, we are excited about next week! On Thursday, we will host Career Day, offering students the opportunity to explore various professions and gain valuable insights from guest speakers. This event promises to inspire our students as they think about their future paths.
Also, don’t forget about the Y2K Student Social, organised by a group of Year 9 students to raise some funds for their Week Without Walls trip, on Wednesday after school. It’s a wonderful chance for our students to unwind and socialise with their peers.
Have a restful weekend and a wonderful week ahead!
Best wishes,
Kru Christine

Students are allowed to bring their phones but they are responsible for them and the phones must be turned off and kept in their bags at all times. Students can turn the phones on after the evening meal for 30 minutes to contact parents, and use them in emergency circumstances only with the permission of chaperones (teachers). If any students go against this guideline, then the trip leaders will ensure there are appropriate consequences for misconduct.
On Thursday 13 November, all students must bring their bags to school for Week Without Walls so that teachers can ensure students have all the required items from the packing list.
Female staff members will conduct bag checks for female students, and male staff members will conduct bag checks for male students. This is a non-negotiable safety issue and students should not bring anything on this trip that might raise questions or concerns. Please ensure no single use plastic is in the bag and do not include any snacks, food items, electronic items or valuables. The bags will be kept in school in classrooms until Tuesday 18 November.
If you have any issues or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via email (h.owen@panyaden.ac.th). Many thanks for your support.

Dear Panyaden Families,
Our school was informed by the Nam Phrae Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital regarding the provision of free Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination for Thai female students ages 11 to 20 who have not yet received any HPV vaccination. The school has been asked to communicate with our parents to determine if they would like their children to receive the HPV vaccination.
All Panyaden female students aged 11–20 with Thai nationality are eligible to receive the HPV vaccination at no cost. The vaccine will be the Human Papillomavirus 9-valent vaccine, which is a one-dose vaccine, and no follow-up dose is necessary. Please note that participation in this vaccination program is entirely voluntary.
If you wish to register your child for the HPV vaccination, please kindly complete this form by 12:00 on Friday, 14 November 2025. All information regarding the vaccination of students shared with us is confidential and will be shared only with the relevant authorities.
At this stage, the authority has not yet informed the school of the date and the vaccination procedures. We will keep you informed once we receive further updates from them.
Best wishes,
Panyaden International School
Dear Secondary Students and Parents,
Get ready for a challenge worthy of heroes!
We are ecstatic to announce that the Secondary School Annual Play for 2025-2026 is the legendary Greek epic: THE ODYSSEY! This isn't just a play; it's an EPIC JOURNEY requiring cunning, commitment, and courage.
We are calling on all PASSIONATE & DILIGENT DRAMA ENTHUSIASTS to join the adventure. Are you ready to unleash your inner hero?
The Odyssey is arguably the greatest epic ever told. Choosing this classic is a deliberate challenge for our students:
Master the Classics: This production is a demanding opportunity to perform a timeless story that has shaped Western literature. Students will tackle complex language and mythical characters, pushing their performance skills to a new level.
A Lesson in Resilience: The story of Odysseus is one of perseverance against impossible odds, facing monsters, navigating temptations, and battling divine wrath. Students will internalize and embody these crucial life skills.
Spectacle & Design: The technical scope is massive! From the one-eyed Cyclops and the enchanting Sirens to stormy seas and grand palaces, the Production ensemble will have incredible creative license to master stagecraft, lighting, and sound design.
Join the Crew: Roles & Commitment
We need dedicated students for both sides of the stage! Join the Secondary School Theatre Club for Seasons 2 and 3
A Critical Note on Commitment: This is an ambitious production. We expect all students who join the Theatre Club to commit fully from the start of Season 2 right through to the Final Performance in April. Dedication is key to success!
Action: Students should contact Kru Vineet or reach-out to the AAD team to sign up by the deadline.
Parents: Be Part of the Epic!
We invite parents to lend their talents and become essential members of our Production Crew! Your expertise can directly shape the visual and technical splendor of the show.
We are specifically looking for volunteers to assist with:
Design: Costume, props, hair & makeup
Backstage: Stage hand coordination and support
Technical: Light and sound operation/control
Movement: Choreography assistance
Action: Parents interested in volunteering should email Kru Vineet (s.vineet@panyaden.ac.th) to express your interest and area of expertise!
Don't miss the ship! Join us, and let's create a theatre experience our community will never forget.
