What is NWEA MAP Growth? MAP Growth is a universal screener that assesses students' academic knowledge and instructional levels. MAP Growth helps teachers understand what students know and what they are ready to learn next.Â
MAP Growth is a computer-adaptive assessment that adjusts to the ability of the individual student and monitors growth over time.
In BPS, students in grades 4-11 take MAP Growth Reading and Math 3 times per school year, while students in grade 3 take MAP Growth Reading and Math 2 times per school year. Testing is conducted during the designated assessment windows in Fall, Winter, and Spring.Â
