ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
The College of Computing Studies – Student Internship Program in the Philippines (CCS SIPP) of Pampanga State University (PampangaStateU) is a structured academic requirement designed to provide students with industry-based learning experiences aligned with their chosen computing discipline.
Student Internship Program in the Philippines (SIPP)
The Student Internship Program in the Philippines (SIPP) is governed by CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 104, Series of 2017, which provides the revised guidelines for the implementation of internship programs in higher education institutions.
The SIPP aims to:

Bridge the gap between theory and practice
Develop professional competence, work ethics, and discipline
Prepare students for employment, entrepreneurship, or advanced studies
Internship is an academic requirement
Must be undertaken in a recognized Host Training Establishment (HTE)
Requires completion of pre-internship and post-internship requirements
Must be closely monitored by the institution
Requires clear distinction between application endorsement and deployment clearance
All internship activities of CCS students are implemented in accordance with CMO No. 104, s. 2017.
