PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PINS ABOVE ARE EXAMPLES and SUGGESTIONS. THIS IS NOT IN ANYWAY AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST. Educational Tools are ALWAYS being added, so there is NO WAY for us to list them all here. So...all pins will be "Open Choice" meaning that you will tell us the name of the tech tool you are using and we will create a pin to recognize your selected tool. We will then add your tool to the list below so that it is shared with EVERYONE.
You can earn a pin* for each of the items below and once you earn 6 Tech Tools pins, you will qualify for the Tech Tools badge. More pins will be added soon!! If you are unfamiliar with the following tools, click on the icon. This will take you to a site with a detailed description, reviews, etc. Please remember that your media coordinator or tech facilitator are here to help you with any of the tech tools that you might want to try.
Be Brave! Try something new. It may be a bust or it may just change the way you teach!
IMPORTANT...to qualify for this pin you must do the following:
- Use the tool with your classes (or in some other capacity if you are not a teacher)
- Request the pin using the Pin Request Form to include a detailed description of its use and YOUR REFLECTION
- Submit a "tool artifact" in the All In Google Classroom. With the artifact, include a SHORT review of the product.
- Once you earn 6 pins, you will qualify for the Tech Tools Badge.
PLEASE NOTE...The TECH TOOLS BADGE IS IMPORTANT and MAY BE UPGRADED...To Earn a Tech Tools Badge with 1 Star, in addition to completing 8 pins and submitting reflections and artifacts, you must also make a BRIEF presentation at a faculty meeting explaining how you have used the tech tool. A 2 Star Badge may be earned for 10 pins and 2 presentations. A 3 star Badge may be earned with 12 pins earned and 3 presentations to the faculty.
