*To quailify for this badge, one must first achieve the PCS Google Ninja Badge AND the Golden Ninja Badge.

In becoming a PCS Google Ninja, users are required to demonstrate the general ability to effectively use a variety of Google's Apps for Education. This badge symbolizes proficiency in using the apps.

To achieve the PCS Google Golden Ninja Badge, users are required to further develop and effectively demonstrate their skills in using Google Apps in the classroom. Student engagement with the apps is paramount. Teachers must show documentation of student engagement in activities using the apps or in activities created using the apps. To earn the Golden Ninja Badge, are required to use 6 of the Google Apps THREE times each in various classroom related activities. Pins should be requested using the Pin Request form and documentation provided in the PCS All In Google Classroom.

To achieve the ELITE status of PCS Google Ninja Diver and earn the Google Ninja Deep-Dive Badge, a truly in-depth use of the Google Apps for Education must be clearly demonstrated. Specifically, use of the apps must be integrated into a singular classroom application where 6 of the Google Apps are used seamlessly together. For example, in a lesson or unit, teachers might demonstrate the use of Google Classroom, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, and Drawings to achieve objectives for the unit. When this is done, documentation must be submitted by creating a digital portfolio in Google Sites and embedding the artifacts in this site while also explaining HOW the application was used. Once the site is created and published, a Deep Dive Pin will be earned. To earn the badge, THREE Deep Dive Pins must be earned. Documentation is provided in a single portfolio housed in a Google Site.

*.4 CEUs will be awarded for each pin earned, meaning earning this badge will result in 1.2 CEUs.

Steps in Achieving Google Diver Status...

1. Develop a lesson or unit of instruction that utilizes 6 of the Google Apps for Education. (This needs to be a seamless use of the apps meaning that each app has an obvious purpose in achieving the objectives of the lesson/unit.)

2. Create and Publish a Google Site that will serve as a digital portfolio, housing and showcasing your artifacts. (And...since these artifacts are all Google Tools, they are EASILY inserted into the Google Site.) Include a brief explanation with the artifacts.

3. Share the link to your newly published site in the ALL IN Google Classroom.

4. Request a Google Deep-Dive Pin using the Pin Request Form.

**This will earn ONE pin. Subsequent pins are earned in the same way, but artifacts will be added to the portfolio on the Google Site...in other words, multiple Google Sites should NOT be created.**
