Number sense is the ability to understand the quantity of a set and the name associated with that quantity. Number is an abstract concept, and young children tend to think in concrete terms.
WALT read/order numbers to 100/1000.
WALT know 10s/100s in numbers, patterns to 10/100.
WALA decimals up to 3 places.
WALT round whole numbers & decimals to 10/100/1000 & 10ths/100ths/1000ths.
WALT read basic fractions.
WALT order fractions with different denominations, equivalent ratios, doubles, halves.
WALT record results of calculations using a variety of mathematical tools e.g. number lines, algorithms.

I can put any set of number up to 4 digits in order.
I can say how many 10s or 100s are in a number and identify patterns of 10s/100s.
I can explain to someone what a decimal is and name them correctly up to 3 places.
I am able to round numbers up or down for any number up to 3 decimal places.
