The Positive Environments, Network of Trainers is a California Positive Behavior Initiative designed to provide information and resources for educators striving to achieve high educational outcomes through the use of proactive positive strategies. Evidence-based positive practices and helpful information is disseminated statewide through this website.

PENT was co-founded by Diana Browning Wright and Deborah Holt, in a joint effort between the Diagnostic Center, Southern California (DCSC) and the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA).

Our collaborative PENT network is dedicated to increasing academic achievement and overcoming behavioral barriers to success for all students with and without disabilities.

All materials can be reproduced for non-commercial purpose for staff training.

The IRIS Center is a national center dedicated to improving education outcomes for all children, especially those with disabilities birth through age twenty-one, through the use of effective evidence-based practices and interventions. PBIS World is a website containing links to hundreds of interventions, supports, resources, and data collection tools, all of which are organized into the tier 1 through 3 framework. It is designed to help guide users through the PBIS implementation process, starting with behavior identification and offering suggestions for interventions and data collection tools. In general, PBIS World can be thought of as a PBIS reference tool.

The OSEP Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) was created to improve the capacity of SEAs, LEAs, and schools to establish, scale-up, and sustain the PBIS framework. The website provides resources to assist with assessment, implementation and evaluation of behavior intervention strategies.
