School Counseling and Mental Health Services
With more than 21 years of experience as a school counselor in Palm Beach County, I am passionate about supporting students as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I earned my Associate of Arts degree from Palm Beach State College, followed by a Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. I am also honored to have been recognized as Elementary School Counselor of the Year for PBSCA in 2025.
My greatest passion is empowering students to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to thrive. I believe that every child has unique gifts and potential, and I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel valued, heard, and encouraged to be their best selves.
I also believe that meaningful collaboration makes a lasting difference. I look forward to partnering with families, teachers, staff, and the school community to ensure that every student feels supported and has the opportunity to succeed. I am truly excited to be part of the TCS family and look forward to building meaningful relationships with our students and families. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our school community and make a positive difference in the lives of our students.
I have served as a middle school counselor for the past ten years, following a decade of experience as a Civics and Spanish educator. I earned my master’s degree in School Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. I am honored to have been recognized as the 2023 Middle School Counselor of the Year and as the 2015 Dwyer Award recipient for Middle School Teacher of the Year. My mission as a school counselor is to support and empower students in reaching their goals while helping them develop strategies for self-care and self-advocacy to become agents of change in our community. With over a decade of experience within the Palm Beach County school system, I’ve found that true student success starts with meaningful connections, empathy, and strong community support. As a certified School Counselor with advanced training in Clinical Mental Health, I love empowering kids—whether that's helping a student set and reach personal goals, guiding families through dynamic school transitions, or stepping in with care during a crisis. I am deeply committed to walking alongside students, teachers, and parents to help our school community thrive together.
I have worked in the mental health field for 13 years, specializing in child welfare. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Lehman College and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. As the School Behavioral Health Professional, I am committed to promoting mental health awareness among students and families while providing a safe and supportive space for students to navigate challenges and emotions. My goal is to help students express themselves fully and thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. ¡También hablo español!
