"This year my projects were heavily focused on Colombia and my Colombian Heritage. Over the summer, I went to Colombia to visit family and got inspired to film the beautiful landscapes. While passing my father’s hometown I was told many interesting stories about his childhood that I knew I had to make some sort of film out of, which is how I created the main focus of this year, a documentary on my father. In the future, I plan to continue film as my major at the university level."
