Where do we see ourselves in our journey?
LEADING
Planning: He Hikinga: We have had some input from whānau, wānanga, Kahui Ako & hapū to whakapiki te reo to support both kaiako & tamariki
Delivering: He Hikinga: We are continuously improving best practices when teaching te reo Māori - conversations on-going in te reo. However we do require the framing to allow our horopaki to be monitored. (not to be placed as a tickbox)
Monitoring: He Hikinga: We are enthusiastic at involving our whānau & beyond to participate in the development of the rautaki mahere.
Our Te Reo Māori Rautaki Mahere is guided by Mana o te Ātua, Mana o te Tīpuna, Mana o te Tāngata, Mana o te Wairua and Te Maramataka.
Recognise the needs of the child, whānau, hapū and iwi through collecting voices and initiating hui
Analyse the data to formulate needs of the learning community that will be discussed at board level in preparation for the Te Reo Māori Rautaki Mahere
Ngāti Kahungunu Education Strategy: filter through the 5 goals and intertwine essential attributes into our Te Reo Māori Rautaki Mahere.
Our Marau-a-kura is ready for our Te Reo Māori Rautaki Mahere to be entwined into each of its matapono. It already allows for tikanga, kawa and te reo Māori to prepare the tamaiti to be present with themselves and those of others.
