"This resource will help kaiako when teaching ākonga through the Mahi by Mahi, Scope and seqence to pānui, tātaki and tuhi.  To use these decodable kāri (and decodable pukapuka) it is important to understand what Hanganga reo matatini is and how this teaching approach helps all ākonga.

When teaching through Hanganga Reo Matatini Approach we will teach the key components.  These are Arokā ki te Weteoro, Weteoro, kete kupu, pānui matatau and pānui aroā.  These kāri will help ākonga to reach pānui aroā and tuhi aroā by first learning to decode and encode.
