How to Join

Cub scouts is open to all boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade. 

At the start of each school year, we hold a kickoff event at Fenimore Woods Park. Usually held on the first Sunday after school starts, you can join us to hear about what we do, meet the scouts and scoutmasters, play games, swap uniforms, and, of course, sign up!

Still on the fence or looking to join mid-year? You are welcome to check out any of our pack or den meetings or email our Cubmaster for more information.

Upon joining, the first requirement for all scouts, regardless of rank, is the Bobcat Adventure where they learn the essentials of scouting: Scout Law and Oath, motto, salute, sign, and handshake. With the exception of Kindergartners, all scouts will need a uniform and handbook; the Lions only use the t-shirt as their uniform.
