Youth Safety
Cub Scouting is family-based and volunteer-led. Parents are expected to attend meetings with their scout (especially for Lions and Tigers), assist with activities at home, and help with events when possible.
All adult leaders complete BSA’s Youth Protection Training. Safety rules include:
Two-deep leadership at all times
No one-on-one adult/youth contact (except own child)
Health forms required for all participants
Training and age-appropriate activities
Training is available at https://my.scouting.org
