New Scouts 

To join Cub Scouts, visit https://beascout.scouting.org, search for 'Pack 233’ and complete  the online registration form. You’ll be contacted by a Pack leader shortly after submission. Alternatively, use the link here to visit the Pack website and click “Join” at the bottom;  https://sites.google.com/Pack233.org/cub-scout-Pack-233 

Returning Scouts 

Scouts are required to re-register annually. For younger scouts, this date will coincide with  the anniversary of the initial registration; for older scouts, it is typically at the end of the  year (due to changes in BSA registration policies). You will likely receive an automated e mail or be contacted by your Den leader when it is time to renew registration. To do so, visit  my.scouting.org, login using the credentials created when you registered, and click “My  Application”. 

Registration Fees 

Annual registration fees are paid to the BSA organization and local BSA Council with which the Pack is affiliated. The annual registration fees are: 

- BSA National Registration: $85 

- Council Fee: $50 

- Administrative Fee: $4 

- Scout Life Magazine subscription (Optional): $15 

Financial assistance may be available – contact the BSA council during registration if  interested. 

Pack Dues 

The registration fees are paid to the Council to support the costs of the entire Cub Scout organization, including background checks, campsite maintenance, and other sponsored activities. To help support our own Pack, we emphasize fundraising throughout the year to prorate the cost of various Pack activities, such as semiannual camping trips and local events. There may be additional costs for families during the year for certain Pack and den  activities, though we aim to offset those as much as possible and keep expenses to a minimum.
