At Pacific Coast Academy, it is our goal to partner with parents to ensure that the services that we are providing to our English Learner families meets the needs of this very special population of students.  It is only with continued communication and dialouge with the parents of our EL students, that we can develop a program that fully allows these students to achieve academically.  The Multilingual Learner Advisory Committee (MLAC) provides the space and opportunity for this collaboration to happen.  Although parents of all students are welcome, committee members have the opportunity to have an active voice when decision-making occurs.
