Designated ELD is defined as instruction provided at a time during the regular school day for focused instruction on the state-adopted ELD standards to assist English learners to develop the critical English language skills necessary for academic content learning in English. At Pacific Coast Academy, we have developed a program to help your students effectively work towards becoming proficient in English.

Minimum Program Requirements
Work 30 minutes minimum daily in the online program. HST will follow up to ensure progress is being made.
Complete the workbook or writing assignment as detailed in Scope and Sequence
Submit a written work sample to HST every Learning Period
Participate in Summative ELPAC
Use the Scope and Sequence provided here as a guide for the concepts that are being taught in our live ELD classes as well as to help keep you as a parent on target as you work through the ELD curriculum with your students; especially if your family is choosing the parent-led option.
