The Survey is to be conducted five years before expiry (ideally sooner) by a jointly appointed Surveyor. 

The Surveyor will conduct a Condition Survey of 100% of assets using project-specific condition gradings and condition indicators (in addition to industry standards).

A separate Asset Management (Compliance) Review will be carried out by the Surveyor to audit service provision.

The Playbook does not cover fire safety - alternative arrangements will be needed to address this issue.
