A successful survey process is essential to PFI expiry. 

The condition in which the building or asset is handed back will significantly affect the future liabilities of public sector organisations.

Understanding the existing contract and any known issues is the starting point. Active management of the survey and remedial works process is needed to prevent works being incomplete on expiry.
