Renee was born and raised in Cleveland Oklahoma, where she graduated High School. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Education from Oklahoma State University. She taught High School and Middle School Art in Sperry Oklahoma for 18 years, 1 year at Union 7th Grade, and has been teaching in Owasso for 2 years now. Renee enjoys teaching middle school and loves building relationships with each of her students.
Brandee was born in Idaho, but has lived in Oklahoma most of her life. She attended Middle and High School in Dewey, Oklahoma and then Idaho State University as well as Northeastern State University where she earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Minor in Interior Design. Brandee started her teaching career as a 3rd-12th grade art teacher at Dewey Schools where she obtained her teaching certificate and taught for 10 years. She went on to teach at Oologah Schools for 8 years until she was hired at the Owasso 7th grade center. Brandee recently was selected for the Oklahoma State Board of Education and helped write the new Frameworks for the Visual Standard for 2020. Since she was young, she has had a passion for creating art. As an artist and a teacher, Brandee strives to inspire students to become critical thinkers, decision makers and creators. “I love to see the students' eyes light up when they discover new ways to express themselves and the self-confidence they gain while creating their artwork”.
