Qualified high school students can take college credit courses and receive both high school and college credit simultaneously. College courses can be taken in the morning or afternoon depending on the student's schedule and the availability of courses.
Reading Area Community College
Students may choose to take a course at the college level by taking the course at Oley Valley High School as part of the instructional schedule. OVHS faculty members teach college courses as part of the high school's advanced academic program. The cost of college credits must be paid by the student.
Reading Area Community College, Alvernia University, Rochester Institute of Technology, St. Cloud University and Delaware Valley University offer college credit for specific courses taken at Oley Valley High School.
Students may choose to take college level courses offered on local campuses. Students are responsible for obtaining transportation to and from the college campus. Kutztown University and Pennsylvania College of Healths and Sciences offer dual enrollment courses on their campuses to Oley Valley High School students.
