How long how you been a teacher?
2022-2023 school year will be my 11th year teaching and also my 9th year at Vista View
Experience in teaching high school Biology and Human Anatomy/Physiology as well as middle school Science, Computer Science, Esports, and Art
What is your educational background?
B.S. in Biology with additional Teaching Credential from UCI (Zot Zot!)
M.S. in Education Technology from CSUF
UCI Computer Science Authorization Program
What do you like about teaching?
Getting the opportunity to teach and know amazing students like YOU! There is just no other job in the world that will give me that delightful feeling of teaching young minds!
The anticipation of watching every students with big potentials follow their endless possible futures
Goofing around (just kidding?)
Where are you *really* from and what language(s) do you speak?
Ethnically Korean but only understands a little of the language
Born and raised in Japan so my current Japanese is at a basic level
Moved to and raised in Irvine, CA (I since moved) and became fluent in English
What are your hobbies and what have you been doing since the pandemic?
Traveling the world (I've been to Japan, Korea, Mexico, England, Scotland, Belgium, France, Germany, China, Thailand, Cambodia, and Morocco!)
Reading
Drawing
Watching shows and movies
Eating (except cakes, cupcakes, and pies because those are gross but ice creams, donuts, and brownies are yummy...makes sense)
Thrifting/Shopping
Are you going to have Anime Club and Art Club again this year?
It all depends each year on student interests!
