Enroll in OVSD! -- Transfer Process

OVSD is open for enrollment!

If you live outside the OVSD boundary but would like to attend one of our high-achieving & award-winning schools, please follow the steps below:

Step 1 Obtain and submit an Interdistrict Transfer Request from your district of residence

• please do this as soon as possible

Step 2 Beginning March 1, 2023 submit an Interdistrict Transfer form and one proof of

residency to Student Services via:

• Email -- jbarajas@ovsd.org (Janet Barajas | Student Services)

• OR in person at OVSD District Office, Building C

Parents will receive a letter via US Postal Service from

Janet Barajas | Student Services in late spring regarding the Interdistrict Transfer request.

Interested in an OVSD school other than your home site?

CURRENTLY ENROLLED STUDENTS -- Already Attending an OVSD School

Families that would like to attend a school other than their school of residence, may submit an Intradistrict Transfer Request via their online Aeries Parent Portal between March 1, 2023 - March 31, 2023

NEW STUDENTS -- First Time Enrollment in an OVSD School

Families can submit a transfer at time of enrollment. The online Intradistrict Transfer Request is accessible through the Parent Portal at portal.ovsd.org.

Parents will receive an email from Janet Barajas | Student Services

by late spring regarding the Intradistrict Transfer request.
