A documentary screening to premiere our 1st international collaboration between our own Youth Tellers & the Young Lions Jazz Conservatory!

In a time where stock music is available almost anywhere online, it isn't everyday that you get the opportunity for one of your films to be scored by a group of talented musicians. Outside the Lens has partnered up with the Young Lions Jazz Conservatory to present CineScore, bringing youth filmmakers and youth musicians together to write, create, and edit a live score!

Over the past months, our Youth Tellers in both Bosnia-Herzegovina and San Diego worked to complete a short documentary film - "Stipe" - which recently premiered at the Mediterranean Film Festival. The films tells the creative journey of internationally acclaimed hairstylist and designer Stipe Filipović.

Our international team of youth creators has spent every Saturday since early November working out their combined vision, creating a collaborative musical score for the film.
