Even though the Japanese were locked up during WW2, they still practiced religion and beliefs and celebrated them. The Japanese main religion is buddhism. Christianity was one of the main ones too. There were many christian facilities in the church along with buddhist facilities. Both religions were worshiped in the camps. They still did the same rituals even though they were in a different environment. The religious resources in the building were used the help the community with with education and amenities. The religion rituals were the same just in a different environment. They made the best of it. (16)
