Congratulations! You have almost completed a year of your education at Our Sisters’ School. Before advancing to the next grade, we have the privilege of reflecting meaningfully together on the past year, measuring growth, and looking forward to the future. This is metacognition in action!
This year, the Portfolio Project has three basic steps:
Think about artifacts and learning experiences
Plan, draft, and revise reflections
Prepare and share virtual presentation
Your teachers will guide you through this process week by week and all assignments will be found on your Google Classroom but the directions for the project as a whole as well as the reflections for each subject can be found here: Full Portfolio Guide

Class: Monday Morning at 10:00am - please bring a writing utensil and a piece of paper. If you do not make it to class you will need to watch the recording and make an individual meeting with me. Slides can be found here.

Science Portfolio Reflections : Final Drafts are due on the 29th, optional rough drafts are due on the 25th for editing. Please let me know if you would like edits!

Watch any of the other videos on the NSF Chemistry Video Website - the other Cheeseburger Chemistry videos are REALLY cool but go deeper into science that we won't touch in 8th grade chemistry but is still really cool!

Class: We will continue to hold our classes on Mondays and Thursdays at 1:30. The link to our google hangout each time is on the Calendar. Please come to class with a writing utensil, paper, and access to your CPM ebook.
Homework (Must Do):

Each week Monday's HW is due by Thursday's class and Thursday's HW is due by the following Monday Class.
