Congratulations! You have almost completed a year of your education at Our Sisters’ School. Before advancing to the next grade, we have the privilege of reflecting meaningfully together on the past year, measuring growth, and looking forward to the future. This is metacognition in action!
This year, the Portfolio Project has three basic steps:
Think about artifacts and learning experiences
Plan, draft, and revise reflections
Prepare and share virtual presentation
Your teachers will guide you through this process week by week and all assignments will be found on your Google Classroom but the directions for the project as a whole as well as the reflections for each subject can be found here: Full Portfolio Guide

If you missed it PLEASE email me to schedule a phone/video check-in then watch this video and take notes when I guide you to do it!

Dear 5th Grade ,
You have been getting into the rhythm of things...nice work!
Below is a reminder of our weekly schedule.
---
Morning Routine: Check the Morning Message every weekday on Google Classroom. Be sure to answer the Morning Question at the end to show you were there!
Class times: Math meets every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:30 am. You can get the meet code through Google Classroom or your calendar. Consider 9:00 -11:00 on those days dedicated math time.
Daily Assignments: Each day from Monday to Wednesday you will be given a new math assignment. To stay on top of things, ideally you should do them each day, but (to make things easier on your schedule) they will not be officially due until the end of the week.
Kahoot! Challenge: On Thursday, I will post a Kahoot! Review Challenge. (Yes, this is required and you need to use your real name to get credit.) Due: Saturday, 5:00 pm.
Bonus Assignments: At times, different types of bonus assignments will pop up. These are optional and worth extra credit! I will clearly label them as BONUS.
