Numeracy

At St Martin's, we believe that being able to apply numeracy skills across a variety of real life contexts leads to being numerate and being able to function responsibly in everyday life and contribute effectively to society, with the aim of increasing our pupils opportunities within the world of work. We hope to provide our pupils with access to such opportunities by giving them exposure to a range of different strategies and methods for applying number processes. Pupils are given the chance to use their voice and share their own strategies with their classmates. What is Number Sense?
