Our Improvement Priorities for this Session
In keeping with West Dunbartonshire overarching priorities for School Improvement. Our priorities for 2024-2025 are :
WELLBEING: Improve the Health & Wellbeing of all our young people and families (Areas of Focus: UNCRC (Rights of the Child); Family Cook Club; The Circle Framework-Inclusive Practice)
CREATIVITY: Improve Learning, Teaching and Assessment (Areas of Focus: Collaborative Learning; Collaborative Planning; Creative Learning Environments; Enhancing Play Pedagogy; Visible Learning- Achieving Assessment Capable Learners)
ATTAINMENT: Improve Attainment and Achievement (Areas of Focus: Using our Assessment Data; Improving Literacy and Numeracy; Working Collaboratively across Early, First and Second level)
EMPLOYABILITY: Ensure Progression in Skills for Learning, Life and Work (Areas of Focus: Implementing the 6 WDCS Competencies in our Curriculum and Learning- Character, Communication, Collaboration, Citizenship, Creativity and Critical Thinking)
SUSTAINABILITY: Improve our Learning about Laudato Si (Pope Francis' mission on: Caring for our World Now and in the Future; Our ECO Schools Actions Plan)
