At St. Mary’s, we support the 17 Global Goals set by the United Nations, which connect with the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child). These goals promote a better world by focusing on education, equality, sustainability, and well-being for all children.

SCHOOL CHARTER
Our School Charter is built on the values of respect, kindness, and inclusion, ensuring that every child feels safe, valued, and heard. It reflects our commitment to Children’s Rights and helps create a positive learning environment where everyone can thrive. Our Charter is created by the Global Group who collate all our class charters.
Together, we aim to build a school community that supports and empowers every pupil to reach their full potential.

At St Mary’s, we celebrate Children’s Rights every week by focusing on a specific right from the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child). This helps our pupils understand their rights and how they apply to their daily lives at school and beyond.

We are delighted to share our Silver Rights Respecting School banner, acknowledging the work we do to promote and respect the rights of children in our school, local community and around the world.
