Snacks and School Lunches

Information about snacks and school lunches can be found below.

A healthy snack!

Children can bring a healthy snack for playtime.  One item only please, as we need time to play!

Stay hydrated!

We can drink from our water bottles throughout the day, and will have milk to drink at story time.  No fizzy drinks or glass bottles please!

A healthy lunch!

Our school kitchen provides a wide range of healthy foods and snacks at lunch times in our lunch hall. Children pick from two options each day during registration and will be supported by the class teacher when making their choices.

Children in Primary 1-5 receive universal free school meals.

We kindly ask that you go through the menu with your child and help them each day make their choice.

If your child prefers to bring a packed lunch to school, they will eat this in our lunch hall alongside the other children.

Dietary requirements should be noted to the school office and arrangements can be made.

Our school is a NUT FREE ZONE.  Some of our children and staff have nut allergies, therefore no NUTS or FOODS CONTAINING NUTS should be brought to school.

If your child has any allergies, please email the school office as soon as possible to notify us of these before your child starts school. A health care plan will be completed for your child.
