Google's Safe Search (And why it matters)

Google Safe search is enabled by default on school browsers and cannot be disabled.

This means that sites deemed unsafe by Google will not appear in search results. They are not blocked, and can be visited by using the URL.

Safe search filters out results containing adult and illegal content as well as filtering out sites known to contain malware and viruses.
