Enrolment forms for Junior Infants and any other pupils who wish to start school in September 2026 will be available from the school office in January between 9a.m. and 2:40p.m. We would appreciate it if you could advise parents of pupils who wish to start in September to apply as soon as possible.
The closing date for applications will be February 5th 2026. Our Admissions Policy can be viewed on the school website or requested from the office.
Health and Safety:
Parking is not permitted on the double yellow lines outside the large school gate and also in the bus parking area between 8.50am and 2.50pm. The cones are there to remind parents and guardians of this. If someone else drops off or collects your children, please let them know about this.
Parking spaces are limited in the car park, it was brought to our attention that some cars are occupying more than one space, if everyone could be mindful to park between the white lines more spaces will be available.
If phone numbers have changed we ask that you contact the school to pass on the new number to the secretary.
Supervision:
School starts at 9.00am sharp and closes at 2:40pm.
To this end we advise pupils to enter their classrooms between 8:50am & 9:00am. Staff are not responsible for pupils before 8:50am or after 2:40pm.
Attendance:
The Educational Welfare Board must be informed of all pupils who have missed 20 days or if staff are concerned, earlier than this. If pupils are sick a phone call to the school should be made on the morning of absence or you can use the Aladdin App and put in a reason for your child’s absence. If you wish your child to stay in at break times, because of illness/injury, a note or a call should be sent in to the class teacher.
Children are required to be in school from 9am until 1:40 (for infant classes), or 2:40pm for children from 1st to 6th classes. Please try to arrange appointments outside of these times.
Uniform:
A full uniform should be worn daily. A note should be given to the teacher if there is any reason why full uniform isn’t being worn.
