Use data from state and local surveys (technology accessibility, teacher need, family need) to plan for Ottumwa’s Return to Learn.
Follow procedures for schedules, attendance, and grading as outlined in the Ottumwa Continuous Learning Plan.
Spring 2020 surveying covered teacher learning needs and family technological accessibility. Data was compiled and analyzed. Results were used to plan spring professional learning and to finalize purchases in-district to increase student access to hardware and also to wi-fi.
July-August social-emotional learning surveys will reach out to students of all ages to gather information on stress, anxiety, learning needs, and learning styles.

OCSD School Board voted to plan for 100% on site learning for all students, Fall 2020 (June 2020).

B-2 - Plan for attendance and promotion/grading.
Building teacher leadership teams will contribute to professional learning efforts. Teams will meet monthly. Administration and curriculum and instruction leads will meet weekly.
C-1- Develop professional development based on identified needs.
C-2 - Implement and support efficacy of professional development provided.
