Health and Safety Recommendations

1. Ensure ongoing student and workplace safety by following District-identified cleaning and mitigation procedures.

2. Populate District inventory of personal protective equipment and other necessary mitigating supplies.

3. Require parents to complete the health/safety section in PowerSchool.

4. Educate, reinforce, and follow CDC/IDPH guidelines of handwashing, over your cough, social distancing when possible, and staying home when ill or with a fever of 100.4 or higher guidelines.

5. Encourage wearing masks for all stakeholders.

6. Reinforce privacy and confidentiality of students and staff.

7. Follow Family First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) procedures.

8. Follow OCSD Return to Work guidance and Employee COVID Exposure Protocol (drafted).

9. Provide required remote learning for high risk or immunocompromised students.

10. OSCD will continue busing status quo.

11. Schools will strive to increase space between bodies when the 6 foot guideline cannot be met.
