Our Rat Rangers are passionate about being part of Predator Free NZ's goal of making New Zealand pest-free by 2050. They do weekly checks of the traps we have in our school forest and on neighbouring properties, and dispose of any pests in our burial chamber.

2022 Rat Rangers:
Our very keen Rat Rangers met with one of our passionate Dads, Andy Saunders, who is a local landowner and very invested in the Predator Free NZ 2050 initiative (something that our work as Rat Rangers contributes towards). He popped in to school to chat with our Rangers about predators, different types of traps, and to encourage them in the work that they do. He brought a "friend" along with him...
