Links We Use

Artswego- a collection of concert and museum experiences available online.

This site contains a variety of music games for students to play. There are many difficulty levels to challenge the students. Use the quizzes/tests section (they are really games!)

This is a note naming game used by our band director. Students love to practice it whenever they get near a computer. The background music can be muted.

Grades K-2 work with Freddie the Frog story books. This is a fun way for them to be introduced to musical concepts. This website contains games, coloring pages, and teacher resources. We have played the matching games in class. When clicking exit after a game, the page goes to a file not found error. Just return to the games home page to select a new game.

We use this to see musicians performing, explore music from other countries, practice audience etiquette, and share students' favorite school appropriate songs with others.

The orchestra moves is for grades 3-6. Grades 3 & 4 are currently working with this program as they learn recorders. You may also work on learning to sing the songs. You may be able to download music to read as well.

Soundtrap- you can make music even if you don't have a keyboard. You just need a computer and the internet. You can get a free 30 day subscription or contact me so I can set up your child with a temporary account to use at home.
