Chorus
Overview:
Do you love to sing? Do you want to become a better musician? I can help you with that in chorus! Each group learns different music as we develop students' vocal abilities. Chorus meets during the school day. There are usually 2 after school rehearsals the month of the concert (no more than 4 per school year). There will be an information packet available in September for those interested in joining chorus.
Permission Slip:
Here is the link to the electronic permission slip required for chorus participation. You may have to copy and paste into your browser window. Save paper, go digital!! Your child will be bringing home a paper copy for your records.

Concert Dates:
Students are required to participate in all choral activities. Here are the concert dates
March 24th concert- cancelled
June 2- 2:30 chorus and orchestra concert at FLS
June 2- 6:30 chorus concert at FLS (chorus 3-6 and morning chorus will perform)
Performance Opportunities:
3rd Grade Choir
4th, 5th, 6th Grade Choir
Morning Chorus (meets Tuesdays from 8-8:45)
All County (by audition for 6th grade only)
NYSSMA Solofest (by audition for 6th grade only, held on mother's day weekend)
Sing for fun groups
Students may also make recordings and CD's of their singing with Mrs. McKenney-Myers.
